sitting on a fence post...chewing my bubblegum....

ok, so i logged in to post about poor little sushi getting his balls snipped today, and they call me right then to tell me he's done and he's alright and is waking up -- i feel much more relieved. he was sooo cute on the way to the vet, he came and curled up in my lap and just sat there and let me pet his cheek and chest....he seemed content...which most of you cat-owners know, is far from normal when cats are on car-rides - especially 20-minute ones through morning rush-hour...
i think i'm going to foster/adopt a dog. i just need to get ann's neighbor to catch her again, and then we'll have another child in the house for a while...she's wild so she's very skittish, but i am very excited about potentially working with her over a month or two and getting her socialized so that we can adopt her out to a great home....i think that would be so very rewarding...

ok. back to work. just had to bring a little of my animal world into the picture today...
