11.11.2004 Santa Fe Excusion Santa Fe, N.M. Sept. 21-25, 2005 $995 per person (does not include transportation to and from Santa Fe) Begin your excursion with a guided historical walking tour of Santa Fe, a wonderful way to see the "City Different" and to learn about its 400 years of Western culture and history and more than 1,000 years of Native American heritage. Travel to Museum Hill and explore four world-class museums including spectacular exhibits of international folk art and Native American artifacts. Venture into the Rio Grande and Santa Rosa Valleys with stops at Santuario de Chimayó (known as the Lourdes of the Southwest) and Centinela Weaving, where the Trujillo family has produced its spectacular Spanish-style weavings for seven generations. Explore the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and enjoy stops at artists' galleries and the unique boutiques and shops along the world-renowned Canyon Road. so, a 4 night stay in santa fe new mexico which seems to include a trip that's mostly museum and town exploring is a grand...NOT including transportation??? i mean, even if each person spent $50 a day on food, that still leaves $750 in hotel and museum entrance/tour costs...whatever...not until i'm a rich, old alum will i be able to wing trips like this or the 600 dollar stay in amelia island for 3 days they're offering. ....gotta get back to work...have a deadline to meet for the morning 0 Comments: |
