where have all the cowboys gone....

so today i got one of those e-mails that makes me smile and feel good inside....i've missed my dear friend pony since seattle took him away to pursue studies of french....and i've been looking into ticket prices to go and visit for awhile now (alas, they're always over $300 which is too much for me to afford anytime soon)....but this brought pony back to me...standing in front of me with scrabble board and a smile in hand. here's the e-mail from my inbox today.

""a" - how jelena spells onomatopaeia when she's being really cute.hehe thanks i liked this and so did the frenchiesi love you and i miss you, you know that? it makes me happy to think of you cos i really hate my life right now, and almost everything i think abt is depressing (i read too much theory). so i like knowing you exist, so that i can think abt you and be a little happier, cos being depressed and stressed and all that is so boring. i mean it. i miss you and im glad youre doing good and going good places. xopony"

i love pony. why did most of the best ones move to far-way lands....seattle, d.c., princeton...
