like love in a drunken sky.....

girls night out was a blast. it was so funny to have hope in the backseat getting explosed to all things jennifer nettles while jess and i finished each other's sentences half the time...

however, i neglected to examine the weather channel or other such weather advisory and didn't realize the temperature would drop TWENTY degrees in only a few hours..it was fucking cold!

aside from spilling a cup of cold water all over my crotch in public, no mishaps occured. unless you consider nevena being "that girl" when she's drunk a mishap.

sugarland minus kristen was good, but nearly as rich and full as when the trio is complete. this show was entirely different than the last one i saw at variety - the crowd was about 85% uga wrangler-wearing rednecks....therefore you must then know that jenn didn't talk as much as normal....but that's what her solo show at eddie's will be for. :) i got to see skye and meet her girlfriend stacey though holding conversation inside the georgia theatre surrounded by vociferous drunks is not the easiest thing to do!

today, well i shouldn't even be up-dating the blog. however, so far i've read all our prior research on the consulting project two classmates and i are doing for a manufacturing firm called microcraft (based in freaking valdosta) and pretty much determined that we need to do an employee culture survey and find out how they would like their pay structure changed (since the company to this point has only done some benchmarking studies and looked at it from the top-down perspective)...hello...trying to decide how to best retain employees may well be strongly influenced by finding out what the line-level people think....oh well, if these people hadn't neglected to realize that, then i wouldn't have a consultation to do...i've also done research on lexis-nexis (our favorite database....btw i hate galileo right about now..i'm tired of research) and read a lot about delta and their lay-offs and then sent way too many high-lighted articles to my group (who seem to be not so much on it) and now i'm embarking on this executive summary of the book i read. let's not even talk about what i'm not going to get to today....

almost depressed. but excited about what i am doing so i'm not too unhappy yet.
