babies!

the mid-term was long...i took an hour and a half to take it (and for those of you who know me well, i get a.d.d. with tests that take me anymore time than just over an hour....)...but, well, i think i may have got a 100 or, at worst a 96. all that insane memorization was useful. whew. we'll see.

but, even MORE/MOST exciting is what's going to happen on monday afternoon (on our way back from our weekend in the mountains)....i'm going to pick up 3 of those one week old rottie-mix puppies to foster.....yes, collective "awwwww" - if anyone wants a puppy in about 6 weeks or so, let me know....i will raise 'em right. see, i get so excited about the idea of little puppies requiring me to get up every 4 hours of the night to bottle feed them, but i want nothing to do with human children. it's ok though, the world is over-populated with humans and there are not enough of those humans to care for all the rescued animals in the world....so i've found my niche.

shadow and i went running today. we ran 3 times for 3-4 minutes with 1 minute walking in between....not much, i know....but i've got to build up slow so i don't pull a gimp hurt my back again. :) ubu is curled up next to me sleeping and scout is sleeping on my lap, the keyboard, and ubu's butt....yes, she likes to spread out. i also gave shadow a haircut today (so christen you can stop trying to say she's scraggly)....she's cute now...even more so than normal. i need to scan my pictures and post them. that'll have to be a spring break activity.

ok. off to home depot and brookhaven (to change wendy's kitty litter) and then to freaking buckhead (phipps) to go to twist for a happy hour for ASAP...do you know how much i HATE buckhead? ugh.

think..PUPPIES!
