a doo run run run...a doo run run

i just checked my bank account, and my check for the peachtree has cleared so that means i'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!! whew, it's actually pretty tough to get in the peachtree...they only take 55,000 people - mail out 10,000 entries early to members of the atlanta track club, and then get over 45,000 in the first two days after the entry is printed in the AJC - so, the fact that i got in is great. i also (before i found this out) printed out a 10K training program - that's 13 weeks long...which would leave me with almost 2 weeks left-over at the end, AND i'm ahead of what's needed for week 1. so, i am a happy camper!

plus, i went to phidippedes (www.phidippides.com) today and bought a new pair of running shoes. we'll see how they do when i do my first 3 mile run tomorrow over to christen's before we head down to piedmont park to see sugarland and shawn mullins.

on another note, dakota had her eye lift today. you think i'm kidding. look at the picture below. i know, i know..she looks wretched, but it will really help her feel better in the long run.

on yet another totally different note, guess who the commencement speaker at agnes scott is this year? yup, who else would a women's college want - hillary rodham clinton...i will be in attendance even though i know about 1 person graduating this year.

ok, i need to write my group's draft of a case study tonight. and it's 9:45 and i haven't even read it. fabulous. here i go....
