happiness comes from compassion

the title of the blog today comes from a woman who spoke at the robinson college of business monday night. it may be my new favorite quotation. she started a non-profit called full circle living (fullcircleliving.org) with her husband and was the best speaker yet in the graduate speaker series. i could try to encompass everything she said, but i just want to convey that she made me so happy....she verbalized so many things that i believe and did so in such an eloquent manner...

unhappily, my lawyer is an ass and made me cry today and it was not good or pretty. however, i think things are better now...after i called my daddy and got a pep talk, i ended up calling back later and talking to the nice paralegal and things should be ok...of they will be b/c i'll make it so.

we did our main group presentation today in org behavior - our case study was the columbia mission failure...nasa is a disappointing organization as their problems have remained the same since the 60s and they've had too many preventable tragedies occur.

the inman park festival is next weekend (the 23rd and 24th). the march of dimes is this sunday (i'm doing it). in addition, jennifer nettles has a solo show at eddie's next tuesday.
