my dad rocks

so i check the mail just now,
and my dad burned me copies of 3 dar williams cds (i'd told him that i couldn't find any of my dar originals) AND he burned a copy of the l word soundtrack for me...how cool is my dad?

sushi is home. and is doing so well. i talked to kat this afternoon and she told me he was frightened to death and that i should come get him. he curled up in my lap and didn't move on the way home...but now he's so happy...walking around constantly and exploring and just happy. i'm so glad. it's the closest i've ever been to losing one of my kids...

i ran to christen's today and we went to panera (where you can buy the BEST bagels i've learned). i've been bumming around at home since then. not doing much of consequence. but scoop is bringing sammy over right now to have a sleep-over with my dogs and then i'm going to publix to buy meatloaf fixin's (christen was kind enough to divulge her recipe). other than that, i just began my next patricia cornwell book. that's my life for today...i'm feeling more like a human after a good night's sleep. :)
