we went to anita's wedding in augusta on saturday. it was soooo nice to hang out with my taco mac crew. all the cool kids were there except for andrea (who is still on her 2 week vacation to antigua!). it made me realize how much i miss hanging out with them...and how they're some of my best friends. we have so much fun together. and even though bob cannot be convinced in any way, shape, or form to dance - us girls just cut the rug ourselves. shelby, jess, hope, tori, michelle, elizabeth, jenn mc, ryan, mitch, and this guy jay were the official t'mac crew. never, ever will i forget ryan and tori "hump-dancing" in the room where they'd set up the "t'mac bar" [with the door open to the wrap-around porch that surrounded the bricked reception patio area] and ryan saing "can you feel my balls" and tori shouting out "yeah, i can feel your balls flapping on my thigh" only to have anita's FATHER walking by the door at that minute and looking in with a priceless look on his face....tori is always good for saying the most excessive things at the most inopportune times....
it made me sad, though....jess is leaving saturday, hope is leaving at the end of june, and shelby is moving back to florida in july. i've got to make more of an effort to go and play with them - they're the kind of people that make me laugh and laugh and do things like swing dance at wedding receptions where the band is playing not-swing music. :)
