can we meet?.can we meet again...at the crossroads of disaster and the imperfect smile

the greatest item of note for this day is that i rubbed my heel raw today - not a good sign considering the peachtree is a little over 24 hours away.

on another note, we lost power for over 7 hours last night. my friday night consisted of hanging out on my front porch reading, and re-applying bug spray in the excessive humidity. and once it started getting dark, i had to strain my eyes a lot. luckily, i got to go meet bob at manuel's and have the worst service we've ever had there (great mood-lifter for the jelena who was already hot and crabby at that point).

on a more interesting note (for you cable subscribers), our cable was also knocked out by that monstrosity of a storm yesterday -- i called this morning to make sure it was in our area, not our house itself and the cable company said yes it was the area and that she could adjust our bill for 2 days of no service. so, the moral of the story is - if you ever don't have cable for a bit, just call the cable company and tell them you want your bill adjusted.

my dreams were way fucked up last night, but of course, at this point in the day, i can no longer remember them to recount to you, dear blog of mine. so i close at this point in time. good night.
