and you know the light is fading all too soon....

i had the choice of posting here or up-dating puppy pics...i chose this blog.

things i've noticed:

women who were power-walking through the parking deck at work -- i thought this was a clever idea -- it's shady, protected from the elements and offers slight inclines that are equal in their length and height.

halloween decorations fighting with santa in the grocery store - what the fuck is up with that? you freaking christmas folks have less and less patience each year!!

the puppies are growing a bit - baby huey still has my heart, stolen.

life is ever-changing and as we know, busy. i think i've out-played the word "busy" -- you'd think that "busy" would reflect an increased level of activity from the norm -- that's what i'd think a response of "busy" to the question "how's it going?" would mean. well - in my life - it's the status quo. from here on out, if i say "busy" is how it's going - it means i've had less than 5 hours of sleep (which is quite a rarity in my world)

i did have a self-imposed deadline of midnight tonight for a big project for the CEO and i got it done 35 minutes ahead of schedule. i had the option of being in bed, sleeping at 11:30 (where bob has been for over a half hour already). but i felt the need to blog.

i'm listening to my newest mix cd, "jel's dar sampler" -- barb and her family are hooked so i made a sampler - duh - what an idiot was i to never have done this before.

bob's mom's condo got ruined today. i say ruined and i pretty much mean it. wendy went ot check on it tonight and walked in to a WRECK. the toilet valve (or something like that) upstairs wore out and broke (these things apparently just happen) - well this resulted in 1 gallon PER MINUTE of water leaking out -- which caused an 8 foot section of her living room ceiling to gave in on to her new dining room table, to ruin the carpet (irreparable), to leak down into her entire living room - ruining her brand new couch and chairs and even ruining the walls in the rooms -- this is all un-folding in the last 3 hours and it just sucks - at least mom wasn't living there yet so now the repairs can be made while she's not there.

had a first job interview today - keep your fingers crossed.

now, to take the babies out and then put them to bed.
