wrap-up

update on sickness -- not better. i think i caught some type of weird stomach bug. but at least i don't feel dizzy today.

we went to fritti for wendy's bday last night - nathan was pretty freaking cute....and he's a super photogenic baby. look at the pictures below that i'm posting from xmas day. anyway, the most important part of last night was going to murphy's to have dessert...the bonzo. i've had it before but never blogged about it. you should get it. it's pretty good. however, murphy's will not be making the cut for jelena's dessert crawl celebration so don't consider this a RAVE review...just a review saying that it's a good dessert and worth making the trip for.

work begins officially on tuesday...how exciting is that....and i have a 7:30 a.m. meeting my first day...which is not as exciting.

btw - we got THREE types of blenders for xmas....add that to the blender and food processor we already own and we're up to FIVE. yes, look for re-gifted presents at all white elephant exchanges in the near future. :)

we also got an online subscription to cook's illustrated in addition to the super fancy (and HUGE - like 7 lbs or so) cook's illustrated cookbook - add to that rachel ray's newest (autographed just for me!) and her signature wustof santuko knife with a cooking class at cook's warehouse from bob and we're having a cooking-fabulous holiday. now screw this damn stomach bug for making most food unpalatable to my tummy.
