whirlwind...

today was a whirlwind at work....i LOVE it when it gets that way. i feel so super-energized and i leave the office bouncing. we had a client meeting with a large restaurant group client (i can't put names on the blog ever, kids)....and it was very neat b/c a great deal of the knowledge i gained from my long consulting engagement with t'mac really translated over. good thing this company is light years ahead of t'mac in the human capital arena.

it's 24 night...again. every monday i say to bob, "already?" and he laughs. b/c i say it in a "oh no...not again" kind of tone. i get too stressed over this show. i'm now into my 3rd season of it but i still flip out. at least this has been a pitiful season in terms of suspense or nail-biting....really, i might even like it more b/c i don't flip out as much as i did before.

i found out today from doug, the guy heading up the puppy mill auction trip to missouri, that i'll probably be getting 2 girls from the auction...not boys. and i'm the only foster taking in two. i'm getting ready for this to be a great (very trying, at times frustrating, extremely slow-progress) and oh-so-rewarding experience. and i will educate you folks on papillons all the way....i hope one day that you love the breed as well. for starters go HERE to my rescue's website. we JUST got a new site and it's not as easy to navigate...but it is hosted for free by this guy who only does sites for rescues so you'll have to make your way a bit carefully through it.

p.s. buster brown in the pictures down below is a papillon mix..but he looks more pap than anything else.
