Reda and I would like to ask a favor of everyone. Donese's birthday is April 1st, and we ask each of you to send her a birthday card, not an e-mail, so that we can put the cards up in her hospital room.

Please tell other people that you know that have met Donese or would be interested in sending her a birthday card. We want her to be surprised to receive so many cards.

PS:
Since arriving here for her second leukemia treatment, Donese has had chemo to put her second bout with leukemia in remission and then was discharged from the hospital as an outpatient. She was readmitted to the hospital Saturday night after having a temperature of 102 and mouth bleeding from low platelets. Her temperature is now back to normal and she is receiving platelet transfusions. She may be back to the apartment in a couple of days. The next update will be in a week or two.
