don't you.
good week. i thought i'd be insanely busy at work before. that was until the last two days. but i'm glad it's a three day weekend and that there are no clients to consult with, surveys to design, or interviews to conduct....except for that 2 hours or so of work i brought home with me.
i may go to nashville on sunday, anyone wanna ride? there is a dog missing from our papillon rescue - she was adopted only 4 weeks ago (i.e. still a very traumatized puppy mill survivor) and she got out just over 48 hours ago. if she's still missing as of tomorrow night, i'm going to head up there to help.
bob's birthday was yesterday - had a good night meeting up with folks at brickstore and then a long, leisurely dinner at rathbun's...still totally lives up to its reputation.
wiley is progressing - he and leo were literally rolling in the floor earlier - if i'd had my camera there would have been a picture. he comes near me but still shies away if i reach out my hand.
sean and emily's wedding was great - it seems like an age ago and it was only a few days...it was the way a wedding should be.
as was wednesday's chica packing party and then oh so liquifiying baptism of the new house...and we can't discount the entertainment of the (yet again) shared bagel store over drinks at the e.a.r.l.
i'm also excited by the short time i was able to spend at my asc alumnae ldrshp retreat...i cannot wait to be more involved in the college and its mission.
i'm having a weird desire to listen to green day's when september ends these days...and a few other random songs that have caught my attention. perhaps there is a new cd in the making.
ok - time to stop being a lame-o working on volunteer stuff and blogging on my friday night....time to go out for some "adult beverages."
adult beverages? i thought you gave all that up to win the miss american pagent or somethin :)
brandon's wedding got changed from oct. 14th to sometime in september (the 17th maybe?) just to let you know...it's gonna be in hot-lanta now too...close to wherever it is jenny is from (sugarloaf parkway area?).
i'm gonna call you when i get done reading everyone's blogs.

i like to pretend that this is my own little world - that no one can come in unless i open the door. hence, the random snippets of my life and thoughts...
