it's been insane, but this is probably going to be a great month when i look back. yes i worked on labor day and then worked 27 hours in the 2 days after that and then flew up to newark and back in a day...but now i get to look forward to the comp time i've earned..

it was opening weekend for the NFL...and you know i was out to watch my buckeyes on saturday night. ande and i even went to the browns bar (way up in alpharetta/duluth area) to watch that game.

though i did squeeze quite a few other things in - breakfast at carroll st, tori's engagement party with liz, nita, and the gang, beers at manny's with fred, running the 5K twice, hanging out with cassi, sprout, katie, n' shelly and admiring the landscaping, went to book club (we read "persepolis" - a graphic novel by an iranian woman - and by graphic, i mean drawn...i didn't realize until i opened the book myself), AND...AND...at book club steven taught us how to make our own sushi rolls --yummo!!!! i made bagel rolls and added carrot. now just because i can't slice them doesn't mean that they weren't super good.

the rest of this week promises to be just as crazy as last week - work is still high pressure with getting this assessment center ready and then delivering it next week, doug is in town from thailand (aquarium today!) and then nev and i get to go prove our hips don't lie with katie and sprouty at shakira! not to mention the 5k saturday, tail-gating at UGA, and on and on...
